Hello! My name is John Barone. I am a film and video game composer based out of Seattle, WA. I began playing guitar at age 12 and played in local bands around the Burlington, Vermont area.

I graduated with my bachelor's in music with a concentration in classical guitar from Castleton College in Vermont in 2018. While there, I was a member of the jazz ensemble, marching band, and collegiate choir.

In 2023, I graduated with my master's in film scoring from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program in Seattle, Washington. While attending PNWFS I had the privilege of working on various student films in many genres ranging from psychological thriller, spaghetti western, drama, and comedy.
